This cheese below holds the records of most expensive cheese in the world because the cheese is harder to be made, coming from thousand miles in the north side of Sweden and contains viewer fat than any regular cheese in this planet.

moose house cheese

The cheese that I like to discuss here is Moose cheese comes from Moose house at northern Sweden and Pule, you will find out what Pule is if you keep reading this post.

The moose house owner is Christopher and Ulla Johannson and they produce the cheese from their 3 moose which they called Gullan, Haelga, and Juna.

They petted those moose on a 59 acres moose farm and they don’t milk them before May and after September. The moose cheese came out from this moose house contain 12 percent of fat and 12 percent protein and moose house only produces 660 pounds annually. Each pound of the cheese is US$500 and it only half of the price of the next expensive cheese which is called Pule.

Pule is a donkey cheese. It came from 100 Balkan Donkeys at Zasavica reserve at north of Belgrade and each pound of the cheese is sold for €1,000. The manager said the cheese contains low fat and each pound of it is made of pure 25 liters donkey milk. I could not find the percentage of fat inside the donkey cheese and I never try this most expensive cheese in the world yet. Fortunately, they are shipped worldwide and I don’t have to wait until April to enjoy it as long I got the money.
